Terms of Service (draft)
- BlindSide is a private, invite-only forum where verified contractors share firsthand opinions and experiences from real jobs.
- BlindSide is nota consumer reporting agency as defined by the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Members certify they will not use any information here to determine any person's eligibility for credit, insurance, employment, or housing.
- Every review is the individual opinion and experience of its author. BlindSide does not author, endorse, or verify member content. Verify everything independently.
- Members must attest each review reflects an honest firsthand experience from a real job. Content that violates the posting rules is removed and repeat violations end membership.
- Reviewed individuals may respond publicly, dispute a review, or request deletion at any time via the subject portal — no account required.
Privacy Policy (draft)
- Displayed everywhere: first name, last initial, and city only. Phone numbers are stored hashed for matching and encrypted at rest.
- Evidence uploads are private and visible only to moderators. No photos of people or home interiors are accepted.
- Reviews automatically archive 36 months after the job date.
- Every search on the platform is logged. Accounts showing patterns inconsistent with contractor use are suspended.
- Deletion requests are processed within 30 days and remove the profile and all associated reviews from display.
